It has been 2 months since I last blogged. So many things have been going on these days. Hubby is now in KL doing some mission (as if he's a detective!). I may be here in this big house alone for the next 2 or 3 days. I wonder when our next trip to the village will be.
My eldest sister is now at Orchid Country Club organising golf event to raise charity funds for Madrasah Al-Irsyad. She's on the clock- watching, waiting to submit her resignation letter, in pursue of a career in Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I again wonder if I will had a chance to visit that country. I hope everything will be smooth for her.
My almost 1 year old cute niece, Mariah, already smartly define the word 'angry' by action. I used to carry her, kiss her profusely and she used to keep quiet. Now, her mother told me she already pick a fight with her 3 years old brother over pratically everything. How time really flies!
By God's will, next year I will sell this house in search of a smaller, more simple or maybe, the simplest form of living. I don't want too many things in the house. I hate to put furnitures just for the sake of 'everybody have one so I must have one too'. Is it a sin not to have a sofa set in my home? Since Malays are traditionally well known of having a tikar mengkuang (braided mats) as carpets and the floor as tables. This simple kind of living really define oneself to its culture. We also eat using our clean bare hands, no dishwasher, no gloves when washing the dishes, just a small sponge and hands. Sometimes.. hardwork can be a lot of fun too even though you work for free. It's all how you see it.
